Mando Potter Dies Following Stroke
GALIEN, Feb 18--The death of Mando Potter, 66, occurred last night in his farm home three and a half miles northwest of Galien. He suffered a stroke a week ago and developed pneumonia.
Mr. Potter was born Nov 12, 1877, in buchanan township and leaves his wife, Mary, and two sons, Foster and Forrest Potter, both of Galien. five grandchildren, one brother and one siseter, Roland Potter of Galien and Mrs Mae Price of Three Oaks.
Mr. Potter belonged both to the Odd Fellow lodge and the Rebekah lodge, and was a well-known resident of his community.
The body was taken this afternoon to the residence from the R.G Kenney funeral home in Galien. funeral services will be conducted sunday, with prayers at the home at 1:30 and service in the Latter-Day Saints church in Galien at 2 o'clock. The Rev Louis Kling, Evangelical pastor of Three Oaks, will officiate, and burial will be in Galien cemetery.
