She was born October 20, 1931, in Hasty, Arkansas, to Andrew Alex and Ditha Arizona Rhynes Lane.
She was an avid fisherwoman who loved the Razorbacks. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her dog and her chickens. She was a member of Woodlawn Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Wisdom Sr.; and a son, Harley Elliott.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Clinton and Patty Elliott of Baden, Pennsylvania, James Elliott of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Gerald Wisdom Jr. of Elko, Nevada; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Annette and Jerry House of Seagoville, Texas, Carolyn and Kenneth Withers of Corpus Christi, Shae Ann Wisdom of Clarksville, and Paulette Jones of Heflin, Alabama; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Lane of Harrison; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Miss. Ann's funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the Shinn Chapel officiated by the Rev. Mary Nell Whalen and the Rev. Elmer Whalen.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Ozark, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Grandsons and great-nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be J. W. Hefley and Chub Slinkard.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Judy Murphy, 126 Lakeview Circle, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
