Ruth, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Ruth was the daughter of George and Mona (Hastings) Schafer.
Ruth attended Sheridan Road School and then graduated from Eastern High School. A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grand mother, aunt and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Beach in 2010; brothers, George and Howard Schafer.
Ruth is survived by her children, Ann Beach of Lansing, Robert (Patty) Beach of Lansing, Denise (Richard) Weed of Jackson, MI and Alice (Gerald) Poppy of Iowa; sister, Alice Lotoszinski; brother, Harold (Joann) Schafer; grand children, Brad Havens, Anne Blanchard, Christine Havens, Brian Beach, Greg (Michelle) Beach, Alison Weed, Jessica Weed, Norm (Katie) Poppy, Chris Poppy and Lynette Poppy; great grandchildren, Richard Heredia, Chloe Blanchard, Mikayla Beach, Chaz Dyer, Kayla Poppy, Joshua Poppy, Julianne Marie Poppy, Mark Poppy, Luke Poppy and Raegan Weed. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
There was a private family service held at a later date.
