daughter of Clifford Frederick and Carma Irene (Penticoff) Marsh

Cynthia Ann Marsh was born on September 15, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa daughter of Clifford Frederick and Carma Irene (Penticoff) Marsh. She was raised and attended school in Waterloo graduating from Central High School in 1976.

Following graduation she attended Allen School of Nursing becoming an RN in 1979. She loved her work in nursing at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and was very caring to her patients and co-workers.

She loved to read, loved her life and loved her family. She thought that her nephews could do no wrong and she greatly enjoyed going to their ballgames and even taking them on vacation! Her best friend and immediate family was her beautiful Akita, Thor.

Cynthia passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics of natural causes.

She is survived by her brother Craig (Barb) Marsh of Waterloo; nephews Conrad (Kara) Marsh of Tripoli, Casey (Shannon) of Waterloo, and Greg (Karen) Halsor of Waverly; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Delaney Marsh, Carter Marsh, Cael Halsor, Summer Halsor and Apryl Halsor; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Thor.

Cynthia showed her deep care for others in her final act as an organ donor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
