Born to Mike and Rose (Halloran)McGinnis . After High School went to Nursing school, she became a great nurse. Army recruiters came to her Oak Park,Illinois hospital to support the WWII effort , caring for wounded soldiers behind the front lines thru 1945. She Met George Hale while they were serving in WWII
