Orlando Bernard “PJ” Johnson, 24, was born May 5, 1986 in Randolph County. He attended Guy B. Teachey Elementary School and Eastern Randolph High School where he played Football.
“PJ” loved to entertain and kept everyone laughing when he was around.
One sister, Laytoya Johnson and his maternal grandmother, Rosalee Johnson preceded him in death.
Cherishing loving memories are: one son, Rylan Thomas of Seagrove; mother and stepfather, Renorda and Theodore Taylor of Asheboro; father, Melvin “Pete” Marley, Jr. of Raleigh; one sister, Odishia Johnson of Asheboro; five brothers, Brian Kirby of New York, NY, William R. Kirby, and Wade Jones II both of Raleigh, Darryl Johnson of Asheboro and John-Michael Newman of Greensboro; grandparents, Melvin and Betty Marley of Asheboro and Randolph and Angela Johnson of Greensboro. Special cousins Quintina Marley and Lorenzo Alston and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends who will dearly miss “PJ”
