Jimmy B. "Jim" Reeves, 78, of 201 Woodfield Drive, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at his home.

Born in Taylors, a son of the late James Robert and Virginia Balentine Reeves, Mr. Reeves was a 1957 graduate of Clemson College and retired as a personnel manager with the textile industry. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley, and a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Folds Reeves of the home; two daughters, Amy Reeves Bradford and husband, Keith, of Easley and Julie Reeves Berger and husband, Phillip, of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Bailey Bradford and Tyler Berger. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was predeceased by a sister, Jean Reeves Abernathy.

Memorial services will be at 3:30 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Private entombment will be in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be immediately following the service Friday at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Ark Hospice for the loving care they gave to Mr. Reeves.

The family is at the residence.
