Nancy Parker Bradshaw, 81, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sept. 23, 2014.


She was a native of Gastonia, daughter of the late Charles Thomas Parker and Mary John Summey Parker.


Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Central Church at Union Road, 2315 Union Road Gas-tonia, NC 28054, officiated by Pastor Terry Mull and the Rev. Gary Weant.


The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.


Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.


Mrs. Bradshaw was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Philadelphia Lu-theran Church, Dallas.


The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Clark & staff at Senior TLC and Samantha Swails for their loving care.


Survivors include her children, Gene A Bradshaw. Jr & wife Paula of Lexington KY, Mike Bradshaw of Dallas, Lynn Bradshaw of Lowell, Scott Bradshaw and wife Mary of Lowell, Kim Bradshaw and Larry Tessnair of Forest City, Leslie Hardin and husband Jason of Gastonia; brothers, Tom Parker of Mooresville, and Johnny and Judith Parker of Charlotte; grandchildren, Heather, Tripp, Caro-line, Lori, Kelly, Beth, Trey, Gauge, Noah, Stevie, JC, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Na-than, Ava, Talen, Parker, Sawyer, and BJ.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Bradshaw Sr., and sister-in-law, Eleanor Parker.


Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association: Southern Piedmont Chapter, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
