Richard P. Kremer, 75, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born February 28, 1939 to Paul and Elizabeth Kremer in Frankenstein, Missouri.

Richard joined the military, serving in both the Army and Navy, which brought him to Jacksonville where he met his wife. Richard loved his Krispy Kreme donuts, reading Western paperbacks and puttering around in his shed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth Kremer and one sister Therese Schmitz. Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Myra L. (Tyner) Kremer of the home, three daughters Kimberly Anne (Victor) Wunschel of Roswell, GA, Cynthia Marie (Bill) Keeble of Huntsville, AL, DuAnn Elizabeth (Kristin) Kremer of Lynch Station, VA, and two grandchildren Clara M. and Richard A. Wunchel. Richard is also survived by six sisters Annabelle (Bernard) Brandt, Bernadine (Leo) Brandt, Mary (Leonard) Keilholz, Margaret (Lyndell) Salmons, Delores (Bill) Boss, Paulette (Kenny-deceased) Peters and seven brothers Virgil (Joyce) Kremer, Luke (Marian) Kremer, Vincent (Martha) Kremer, Joseph (Deb) Kremer, Gerard (Teddy) Kremer, Patrick (Rhonda) Kremer, James Kremer, all of Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 10:00-11:00am in the chapel. Funeral services will be held after the visitation starting at 11:00am with interment to follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
