Kathy Watts, age 59, of the Greystone Community, passed away Tuesday morning, September 23, 2014, at her home.

She was disabled and attended People’s Tabernacle as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include her parents: Vestal and Jo Watts; one brother and sister-in-law: Ronnie and Cheryl Watts; one nephew: Ryan Watts; two aunts and one uncle: Jim and Gladys Reaves and Lynnis Jean Gunter; several cousins; special friend and caretaker: Revonda Shelton and Nate.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Glen and Macie Cochrane and Walter and Hazel Watts.

The family will receive friends from 3 – 7 p.m. on Thursday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Amos Penley will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens at 10:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession to Gethsemane Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service.

Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Watts, Ryan Watts, Wayne Southerland, Frank Carson, Rex Hopson, and Nate.
