Patricia Ann Trigg, born September 10, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Winford and Rosemary (Walsh) Gipson, departed this life Sunday, September 21, 2014 in West Plains, MO. She attained the age of seventy-four years and eleven days.

Pat grew up in St. Louis where she attended a St. Louis school district. She was formerly of Barnhart, MO until she moved to Fremont, MO in 1992. She resided in Fremont for several years before moving to West Plains in March 2014.

Mrs. Trigg was of the Missionary Baptist Faith and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Briar, MO. Pat was a homemaker to her wonderful family and a proud wife to James Trigg. She enjoyed playing cards, computer games, crocheting and spending time outside with her dog Polly enjoying a beautiful days. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother.

On September 1, 1956 Patricia was united in marriage to James Edward Trigg, SR. in Jennings, MO. To this union five children were born. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2010.

In addition to her parents and husband of 54 years, she is preceded in death by one brother, James Gipson and one sister, Rose Hartley.

Survivors include three sons, James Edward Trigg, Jr., Jacob Steven Trigg and wife Diane, Joseph Allan Trigg and wife Angie all of Desoto, MO.; two daughters, Susan Elaine Leonard and husband Dennis of Caulfield, MO and Bonnie Ann Moser and husband Wesley of Hillsboro, MO.; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren along with several other family and friends that morn her passing.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Wilderness Church, visitation will start at 11:00am and funeral at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dennis Leonard officiating. Burial to follow in the Wilderness Cemetery.
