Rebecca "Becki" J. Arnold, 55, of Evansville, passed away on the first day of fall (her favorite time of the year) Sunday, September 21, 2014, at 8:00 PM. She was born on October 17, 1958, in Evansville, to Shelby Reynolds and JoAnn (Allen) Fulkerson.
She loved to sew, scrapbook, cook, knit, fish with her family, and was a Sunday School teacher for over 14 years. Becki was the most joyful person her family and friends knew. She always had a smile and was always willing to listen. She was the person that others would search out to bend her ear and many times they would not be able to walk away without a hug and an encouraging word. She was known for her unfailing love for her family. She never let anyone leave without saying "I Love You". Her character came only by her love in Jesus Christ. She was all those things because of her identity in Him. She served everyone with a loving heart, always seeking to the needs of others before her own. She made sure that everyone who crossed her path knew that Jesus loved them and they can find hope in him.
Becki was preceded in death by her father, Shelby Reynolds; mother-in-law, Helen Nelson; and step-father, Albert Fulkerson.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve Arnold; daughter, Sarah (Brandon) Wright; sons, mother, JoAnn Fulkerson;
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Christian Fellowship Church, 5300 Millersburg Rd., officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring and Rev. Dale Beaver and speakers Rev. Randy Reynolds and Rev. Phillip Arnold, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM to service time at the church.
