Christopher Joseph Gaudet, 55
WINDHAM -- Christopher Joseph Gaudet, 55, of Windham died March 7, 2014 of natural causes. He was born on March 19, 1958 in Portland, and grew up in Windham, Westbrook, and Gorham. He resided in Windham, until Nov. of 2013, when he relocated to sunny Tampa, Fla.
He graduated from Westbrook High School in 1976. He had a true entrepreneurial spirit, and was always hard at work crafting a business plan for his next venture. Throughout his life, he owned several businesses ranging from a national academic employment search engine to a kayak roof roller production company. In later years, he held positions in project management and accounting for several small businesses. He loved camping, fishing, springtime landscape projects, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father; Rayno Gaudet, and wife of 16 years, Merribeth Gaudet. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Crosby; daughter Rikki-Leigh Gaudet, and sons Christopher Gaudet and Alexander Gaudet; as well as his twin sister Cathy Gaudet, brothers Kevin Gaudet and John Gaudet.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at Bruno's Restaurant, 33 Allen Ave Portland on March 29, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. Burial will be private.
