He was born on May 30, 1906, in Edgerton, the son of William and Mary Hayes Connors. He married Berenice M. Fabiszak on March 4, 1929 in Sheboygan.
He was employed by Fairbanks Morse and Co., retiring in 1971. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and the Fairbanks Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John F. Jr. of Waukesha and Michael D. of New Baltimore, Michigan; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, William of Edgerton and one sister, Alice (Mrs. Ferd) Mossberg of Rosendale, Wisconsin. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Donald Murray officiating. Burial will be in Mount Thabor Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
