Funeral Services for Mrs. Millie Netherton Wall, age 93 of Cookeville, will be Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
Mrs. Wall was born November 19, 1920 in Putnam County TN to the late Robert Fain Netherton and Alice Carry Ray Netherton. She enjoyed a long and fruitful life, always honoring God, and is now resting peacefully with her Heavenly Father. Millie passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Bradley Health Care in Cleveland, TN following an extended illness.
Millie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Michelle Wall of Harrison TN; a brother Dawson Netherton, and granddaughters Christy Wall Kuhlman of Abiquiu, NM and Kaci Wall of Nashville, TN.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by husbands, Estel Wall and Lecil Huffer; brothers Charlie, Bob and Vaden Netherton and sisters Veleda Bennett, Velna Eldridge and Vivian Riddle.
