Edgar C. "Junior" Webery, 50, of Eldon, died Monday, March 13, 1991, at St. Mary's Health Center, in Jefferson City.

He was born Aug. 17, 1940, in Kaiser, to Edgar C. and Flossie Shivers Webery. His mother and stepfather, Flossie and Mack Stamper, survives at Eldon. On June 21, 1958, he was married in Lake Ozark to Joyce E. Admire, who survives at the home.

Mr. Webery was co-owner/operator of Freighways, Inc. of Eldon. He lived in the Eldon community most of his life and was a member of the North Street Christian Church , where he was a deacon.

Other survivors are two sons, Michael C. Webery, and Matthew L. Webery, both of Eldon;

two daughters, Michele E. Surface and Melynda D. Webery, both of Eldon; two brothers, Darrell Webery of Eldon, and Marvin Fisher of Lincoln, Nebraska; two sisters, Betty Durham and Deloris Webery, both of Eldon; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 am Thursday a the North Street Christian Church in Eldon with the Rev. Don Renken officiating. Burial was in the Eldon Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon.
