DUNCAN, BARBARA JEAN TAYLOR died 24 Feb 1988
Barbara Jean Taylor Duncan, 58, of Oneida, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 1988, at her home after a long illness. She was the daughter of Vergie Smith Taylor and the late Herbert G. Taylor. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Winfield. She and her husband operated the Duncan General Store in McCreary County for many years. Mrs. Duncan is survived by her husband, Robert C. Duncan; one daughter, Linda S. Duncan, both of Oneida; one son: Robert M. (Mike) Duncan of Inez, Ky.; her mother, Vergie Taylor; two brothers, Robert L. Taylor and Jerry Taylor both of Oneida; and one grandson, Robert M. Duncan, Jr. Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 26, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Edwards and Rev. John Ralph Stephens officiating. Special music was provided by Irene Chitwood and Imogene King. Burial was in the Duncan Family Cemetery in Winfield. Serving as pallbearers were: Alfred Cross, Ross Duncan, Chuck Jurgens, David L.
