Mrs. and Mrs. Sam Tweedle were Belton visitors Saturday. Mrs. Amelia Tweedle, Miss Elsie Boyd and Mrs. Sadie Boyd enjoyed a fishing party yesterday afternoon on the creek.
Obituary:
Mrs. Amelia Tweedle - Mrs. Sam (Amelia) Tweedle, 92, died last Tuesday in a Temple hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were March 4 in Heartfelt Chapel with the Robert Lokey officiating and burial was in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Tweedle was born June 18, 1888, in Bell County and lived in the county all of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Tweedle, in 1960. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. [Belton Journal, Belton, Texas].
