Mr. Gower was preceded in death by his father, Smith Gower; and aunt, Imogene Gower.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Gower; sons, Steven and Kevin Gower; mother, Hazel Gower; brothers, Mike and (Sha) Gower and David and ( Kathy) Gower; nephews, Scott and Matt; nieces, Amy, Victoria and Sarah; as well as aunts and uncles.
The Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Richard Nial Gower will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
