Gene Allan Ket, 68, died on September 20, 2014 at 4:45 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi Indiana due to complications of cancer of the pancreas.
He was born on November 20, 1945 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Fred and Wyna (Grond) Ket. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ellvin "Jim" Ket. He married Barbara Jean Cornell on August 14, 1971 and they were later divorced.
Surviving are his son, David; a brother, Steve; a sister, Henrietta and several nieces and nephews and their children.
He was a heavy equipment operator and drove semi-trucks for forty-two years.
