Carl Cecil Curtis, 79 of Huntsville, Alabama died on Sunday, September 21, 2014, in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, February 26, 1935 in Prospect, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Willie Curtis and the late Louise Kimbrough Curtis He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and working outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Ellie Mae McNeese Curtis, and brothers: Calvin and Tommy Curtis.

Surviving are daughter, Kaye & George Wagoner of Fayetteville, TN, brothers, Rev. William Curtis of Cleveland, TN and Rev. Harold Curtis of Prospect, TN, sisters, Rosie Higginbotham of Prospect, TN, Betty Broadway of Ardmore, AL and Patricia Corris of Newnan, GA, grandchildren: Christian Niemi and Cameron Niemi, and three step-grandchildren: Michelle & Mike Alcantara, Ashley Wagoner, and Kyle Wagoner, all of Fayetteville, TN.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home located, Ardmore, Alabama with the Bro. Jeff Drake officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
