Also buried in this lot, in graves 6-7 are "Mrs. T. L.'s five infants".
The 1874 city directory lists a Mrs. Thomas L. Macon, who boards at 72 Marietta street.
Mary appears in the 1850 census with her first husband, Benjamin Curran Houston. She is listed as being 19 years old which would give her a birth date of 1831. This is more in keeping with the August 1830 marriage date of her parents, William Dougherty and Achsah Love Turner. Unable to find her in the 1860 or 1870 census with her 2nd husband, Thomas Littleton Macon. She dies and he doesn't appear again until 1880 when he is in New Orleans with his third wife, Bettie Withers.
