Ruth D. Farrar, 71, of Liverpool, passed away on Sunday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Highland Mountain, WV, daughter of the late William and Flossie Mae Vaughn. She was predeceased by her husband, George T. Farrar, Jr. in 2012. Surviving are four children, Jacqueline Silvester, Karen Hamilton-Silvester, Derrick Silvester and Kurtis Silvester; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Vaughn; four sisters, Gertrude, Genevieve, Linda and Luella. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, noon at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
