Virgil Wayne Brown, 65, entered into eternal peace September 21, 2014.

Virgil was born May 16, 1949 to the late Joe Neoapolen and Lorine Hanshaw Brown in Lauratown, Arkansas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Carylon Hoffman Brown, daughter Melissa JoAnn Hancock (Layton) , grandchildren; Xander Layton, Paxton Layton, special family friend’s Robin and Brad, Halie, Savanah, Rani Stacy, and Jessica Beasley and Andrew, Jonas Garthwaite, brothers, Laymon Eugene “Bud”Collins, Albert (Buzz) Bruce Brown, sister Gloria Jean (James) Smith, several beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lorine, step-father Conard Dunn, daughters Kimberly D. Brown, Cassandra E. Brown, mother-in-law Beatrice and father-in-law Carl Hoffman.

Services will be held in McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. with Brother Eugene Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Old Lebanon Cemetery.
