A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Central United Methodist Church.
Howard was born in Hale Center, Texas, the son of Harmon and Martha (Brawdy) Watts. Howard loved fishing. Whether it was on a river or lake he enjoyed the challenges of fishing and the thrill of the catch. Howard was a meek man with a big heart and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He loved kids and was a wonderful uncle.
He leaves behind his mother, Martha Watts; sisters, Linda and husband Larry Applegate and Brenda and husband Randy Tarpley; brother, Mike and wife Thersa Watts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by father, Harmon Watts.
