Mrs. Emma Gentry, 77, a former resident of Brook who had resided with a son in Murfreesboro, Tenn., for the past 11 years, died Saturday in a Murfreesboro hospital.

Born in St. Anne, Ill., she married William Gentry in 10. He preceded her in death in 1954. She was a member of the Brook EUB Church.

Survivors include two sons, Harold of Murfreesboro and Leroy of Concord, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Reatha Hirte of Prairie View, Ill.,Mrs. Freida Markley of Lostant, Ill., and Mrs. Ethel Weltzin of Boswell; a brother, John Dewey of Danville, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Marlow of Sixes, Ore.
