Robert Lynn (Robbie) Vann, age 46, went to meet his Lord and the rest of his heavenly family Sunday, September 21, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Family members there to meet him in Heaven are his grandparents, Kelly and Ivory Byrge and Millard and Martha Vann. He was a member of Park West Church of God. Robbie lived his life to the fullest and loved the outdoors. He was a caring person who always looked out for the "underdog" from the time he was a small child and his passion for life and concern for his family and friends was evident until the moment of his passing. Those who knew him will never be the same because he was a part of their lives and they will never be the same again because he is no longer with them here on earth. He will however, live forever in memories of his caring and fun loving ways.
Those he leaves behind with a "Robbie sized" hole in their hearts include his parents, Carl and Norma Vann; sisters, Nordeana (Paul) Saunders and Michelle (David) Breeden; a large extended family and a host of friends. Robbie also leaves behind special friends from the Dale Reed Softball Team, Chris, Missy, John, Dean, Lorrie, Mike, Carri, Chuck, Bobby, Floyd and the Reed family. He loved them all dearly.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 24th at 1:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton. Family and friends may come by Holley-Gamble Funeral Home at their convenience and sign Robbie's guest book on Tuesday, September 23rd. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
