William Morris 'Bill' Carmack, Jr.

BILLINGS, MONTANA - William Morris Carmack, Jr. age 72, passed away Sunday, June 22, 1997 at the Deaconess Hospital in Billings.

He was born April 8, 1925, in Long Beach, CA the son of William M. and Zella Van Wagenen Carmack. After the death of his mother, he was raised by his Grammy Schaer in Midway, Utah, and by his Aunt Reta Barton in Ogden. He Graduated from Ogden High School.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in World War II, in New Guinea and the Korean Conflict as an M.P., and later in the Criminal Investigation Dept.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to be in the out of doors around Billings. He was a salesman and worked for Clover Club Foods in Utah and Midland Packing in Billings for a number of years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Carmack. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 26, 1997. Interment Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the DAV/VFW.
