"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Ashley Renee Richardson, 21, departed this earthly life to live with Jesus on Sunday, July 2, 2006. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward and Claudette Green. Ashley leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Gloria Richardson and David Greene; stepfather, Anthony Barnes; siblings, Deidre and David; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Jean Richardson; and an enormous host of aunts, uncles, one devoted, Ronnie Richardson; friends and cousins, two devoted, Jessica Harris and Shannon Richardson; also, special friend, Adam Santos; and her church family. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. Services will be held at 31st Street Baptist Church, 823 N. 31st St. on Saturday at 1 p.m. Dr. Darrel Rollins officiating. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to service. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
