David Allen Boyce, 27, of Millington, TN died September 19, 2014. He was born September 26, 1986 in Memphis, the son of Steven Boyce and Priscilla Hamric.
He, his mother and sister moved to Oxford, MS when he was young. He graduated from Oxford High School in 2009. He was currently living with his father and working in Millington at Starbucks saving his money to go back to college. David constantly had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He always had his heart and hands available to help others. He attended First Baptist Church in Millington and rededicated his life to Christ in February, 2014.
David is survived by; father, Steven Boyce of Millington; mother, Priscilla Hamric and step-father, Edwin Koen of Oxford; sister, Jacqueline Boyce Gordon; brother in law, Brad Gordon of Madison,WI. He leaves his paternal grandmother, Wilma Doris Boyce of Olive Branch, and maternal grandparents, Bill and Ann Hamric of Oxford.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Berlie Boyce Sr. of Olive Branch, MS; cousin, Abigail Hamric of Collierville, TN, and his great grandmother Grace Barbee, Oxford, MS.
He is also survived by; several aunts and uncles, Berlie Boyce, Jr and Nelda Boyce of Coldwater, MS, Norma Washington, Olive Branch, MS, Zack and Greta Hamric, Rogers, AR, and Ken and Becky Hamric of Collierville. He also leaves a step-mother, Bonnie Wilson, Brighton; step sister, Wesley Rusch, Munford, and a step brother, Jake Wilson of Drummonds.
All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Memphis, TN.
