SUFFIELD, Conn. -- Mrs. Joyce Fuller Doolittle, 27, wife of Raymond E. Doolittle of 1127 Sullivan Ave., South Windsor, formerly of Suffield, died at her home Thursday morning [4 May 1961]. She was born in Hartford, Feb. 20, 1934, daughter of Charles A. and Lavenia Hubbard Fuller. She attended local schools and graduated from Suffield High School and the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational. A former worthy adviser of the Rainbow Girls, she was also active in 4-H work. Besides her husband and parents she leaves her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Hubbard of Hartford, her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Fuller of Suffield and three brothers, Lt. Charles A. Fuller, Jr., of Fort Hood, Tex., Bruce H. and Keith H. Fuller, both of Suffield. The funeral will be held at Nicholson funeral home, Saturday at 2:30. Rev. J. Gorman Smith of First Church of Christ, Congregational, will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Windsor Locks. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from 7 to 9.
