Lou P. Egan Services for Lou Patten Egan of 109 Fordham Road, who died Thursday [7 Feb 1985] at Community-General Hospital, will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday in St. Daniel's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours. A native of East Syracuse, Mrs. Egan resided most of her life in Syracuse. She retired in 1960 as an executive secretary after 10 years with Smith Corona Typewriter Co. She had also been a secretary for 25 years with U. S. Hoffman co. Her husband, George, Died in 1974. Mrs. Egan was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church and a former member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are four sisters, Bertha Nigro of Utica, Mary Kenyon of LaFayette, Dorothy Brown of Liverpool and Ruth Bishop of Syracuse; a brother, Robert Patten of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Contributions in Lieu of flowers may be made to the Onondaga County Public Library Services for the Handicapped, 335 Montgomery St.
