DELAWARE — Mabel Chapman, 67, of Ashley, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Grant Hospital.

She was born Jan. 17, 1949 in Canal Winchester to the late Tessie (Curtis) and Willis Boysel Sr.

Mabel was a member of Stratford St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She graduated from Hayes High School class of 1967. She worked at Grady Memorial Hospital for 22 years in the Surgery Department as a scheduler.

She is survived by one son, Robert (Rhonda) Chapman; one daughter, Melanie (Jon) Waltermyer; three grandsons, John, Logan, and Matthew Chapman; one great-grandson, Jaden Chapman; and two sisters, Wilma Molihan and Barbra Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chapman Sr.; one son, Eric Chapman; father, Willis Boysel; mother, Tessie Boysel; and two brothers, Willis Jr. Boysel and Eddie Dixon.

Arrangements are in care of Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware.

A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Plumwood Cemetery with Rev. Wallace White officiating.
