Death of J. R. Carnahan
J. R. Carnahan died at the home of his parents Saturday, May 12, in Dukes Valley, from concussion of the brain. The deceased was kicked by a horse some time ago, and it was this that finally caused his death. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Dukes Valley school house at 11 o'clock, and the remains interred in the K. of P. cemetery. Rev. Bradley conducted the services. J. E. Nichols had charge of the funeral.
