Marjorie Jeanette Graves, the daughter of Frank G. and Bertha (Swanker) Evans was born September 11, 1915 at Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on September 15, 2014 at the Villa at Carpenter’s Lakeland, Florida at the age of 99 years and 4 days.
Marjorie was raised in Red Oak and attended Red Oak schools. She was united in marriage to Daniel M. Looker on March 9, 1949 at Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in Red Oak all their married years. Daniel passed away on March 26, 1964. Marjorie later was married on May 19, 1971 to John L. Graves at El Paso, Texas. They moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1984. John passed away on April 12, 1987. Marjorie continued to make Lakeland her home. She was a homemaker most of her life.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Daniel and John; sisters, Beth Seeman and Frances Evans.
Marjorie is survived by two nieces: Carol Dias of Lakeland, FL and Chris Madison and husband Dan of Winterset, IA; 4 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews; other relatives and friends.
