Sgt. Anton JeSean Hiett, 25, of Mount Airy passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006, while serving his country. He was born July 26, 1980, in Washington, D.C., to George L. and Angela McCree Hiett. Sgt. Hiett was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and a member of Fountain of Life Worship Center. Sgt. Hiett is survived by his loving wife, Misty D. Hiett of the home; a daughter, Kyra Lenai Hiett of the home; his parents, George L. and Angela McCree Hiett; mother-in-law Donna Worrell; two brothers, Tyrone T. Moore and Immanuel D. Hiett; a sister, Sonia Moore; maternal grandparents Bishop William H. Bruce and Mary M. Bruce; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Ted Bacca. Sgt. Hiett was preceded in death by a sister, LaToya McCree; and a brother, Joseph Hiett.

Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery. Full military honors will be given by the Army Honor Guard of Fort Bragg.
