Jessie Elizabeth Quade, 94, of Jackson, Mo., passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home. Born in Scopus, Mo., on July 26, 1920, she was the daughter of William D. and Nellie Conder Brown. On Aug. 25, 1950, she married Linus W. "Mox" Quade. He preceded her in death on Oc. 1, 2005.
She retired from International Shoe Co., and was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Linda Quade of Burfordville; and one grandson, Scott Quade of Boston, Mass.; and two sisters: Idell Dockins of Jackson and Essie Abernathy of Illinois. She was preced in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Rev. Don Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
