MRS. CARRIE M. LYMAN
ELIOT - Mrs. Carrie M Lyman, 81, of Eliot, widow of Russell A. Lyman, died at York hospital Wednesday after a brief illness. She was born at Ellsworth on March 16, 1888, the daughter of Eugene H. and Gertrude (Haslam) Jellison. She resided for many years in Otis and then in Bangor, before moving to Eliot 25 years ago.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bangor.
She is survived by two sons, Frank E. Lyman of Cape Elizabeth and Joseph K. Lyman of Eliot; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; stepmother, Mrs. Lennie Jellison of Otis and a sister, Mrs. Nina Graham of Bar Harbor, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Buckminster Chapel at Portsmouth, N. H. Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Eliot.
Friends may call at the chapel Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
