LAPORTE — Mrs. Margaret D. Pappas. 12, of 309 11th, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in LaPorte Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1913, In LaPorte and was a lifetime resident. She was married May 6, 1348, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Leo J. Pappas, who died Oct. 21, 1965.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary

She is survived by a son, John Pappas of LaPorte; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Luther of LaPorte; two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs Laura Fitzsimmons of LaPorte, Mr, Helen Stimley of Michigan City and Mrs. Minnie Hems of Hot Springs. Four brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be at I p.m Saturday in the Haverstock Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Meyer, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Friends may all from noon Friday until time of services.
