Cora Mae Elliott, 88, of Dora died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be today, March 2, 2001, at 2 p.m., at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in New Horizon Memory Gardens. Revs. Mark Clifton and Jerry A. Bett will officiate. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was employed as a shipping clerk with Blackburn Mfg. Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newt Elliott.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Barton and husband, Don of Cordova; sister of Lora Kuglar of Dora; grandsons, Greg Creel of Bessemer and Ben Creel of Dora; three great-grandchildren and a nephew.
