Actress. She was born in Woltersdorf, Brandenburg, Germany. She began her career on stage, and in 1929, he debuted in cinema with the film "Katharine Knie." Until 1939, she appeared in several films such as "Das Konzert" (1931), "Der Schwartz Husar" (1932), "Kampf um Blond" (1933), "Der Läufer von Marathon" (1933), "Annette in Paradise" (1934), "Der Blaue Diamant" (1935), "Peter im Schnee" (1937) and "Hurra Ich Bin Papa!" (1939). In this moment, she got a working prohibition of Nazi government and wasn't able to take part in movies between 1939 and 1944. Then, she concentrated to the theater again. Her career, on cinema also include "Das Leben Geht Weiten" (1945), "Vatertag" (1955) and "Himmel, Amor und Zwirn" (1960). She appeared in TV series "Der Kommissar." She died in Brilon during a tour with the play "Die Katze auf dem heissen Blechdach."
