Richard J. "Rick" BUTCHER, age 68,
founder of R.J. Construction of Weston, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
Beloved son of Hilda (Crouse) Butcher of Weston and the late Irvin J. Butcher.
Memorial Visitations will be held at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home,
56 Pemberton Road
WAYLAND.
Private family interment will be held at the Butcher lot in Linwood Cemetery.
Richard J. "Rick" Butcher, 68, died peacefully and comfortably on Tuesday morning, September 16, 2014 at Emerson Hospital in Concord following a period of declining health. .
Rick has been a lifelong resident of Weston and graduated from Weston High School with the Class of 1963 where he excelled in sports especially football.
He attended the University of Wisconsin at Platteville where he also played college football.
He served his country with honor during the Vietnam War with the United States Marine Corps and has also been proud of being able to serve his country.
He was the founder and owner of R. J. Construction of Weston. Rick enjoyed motorcycles, body building in his earlier years and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He also enjoyed music and played the guitar with several local bands and his group of friends.
He was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed the time spent with them as well as caring for his mother Hilda. Rick will be remembered for his kindness to everyone that he met in his life.
