Kyle Tristan Dodson, 22, beloved son of Doug and Cindy (nee Dickerson) Dodson,
devoted brother of David (Nicki) Dodson and Brittany Dodson, loving grandson of
Harry & Mary Jane Dickerson and Bonnie & the late George W. Dodson , dear nephew
of Dion Dodson, Janie (Lambert ) Boone, Ginger (Steve) Nally, Carrie Dodson, and
the late Dayna Dodson, uncle of Ben and Rebecca Dodson, cousin to Dillon Dodson
and Shelby Stearman, and a wonderful, generous friend to many. Passed away
suddenly April 19, 2014.

Finishing his fourth year of college, Kyle was a student at the University of
Cincinnati. A biology major, Kyle had plans for post graduate education with
aspirations of becoming a physician assistant.

Kyle was a Cum Laude graduate of Mason High School in 2010 receiving the Ohio
State Board of Education Diploma with Honors. While attending high school, Kyle
enjoyed playing multiple sports. In football, he earned "Most Improved
Off-Season Effort & Intensity" in 2008, Leadershilp Council his senior year, and
Varsity letterman his junior and senior years. He was also a Varsity letterman
junior and senior years in Lacrosse, receiving Team Player Award in 2010. As a
wrestler, Kyle achieved the Coach's Award. In 2005, Kyle achieved the level of
black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

In his senior year, Kyle was selected as a Senior Sib, an ambassador program
that welcomes new students. This was appropriate as Kyle had a heart for people.
He was always a champion for the underdog and was the kind of person people came
to when they needed someone to listen. He was always ready to lend a helping
hand and did so regularly, even with strangers. Kyle also had a passion for
music which was evident when he was selected for High School Honors Concert
Choir his senior year.

His love of people carried through to his community service, volunteering over
100 hours through Troop 750 of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2006, he received
the National Scouting Honor Society (Order of the Arrow) and achieved Eagle Rank
in December 2009. Kyle was active with Young Life Youth Group and a member of
the core leadership group 2009-2010.
