Robert Granville Jack, 71, a native of Buffalo, Illinois, but a resident of Gulfport for 20 years, died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home. He was born Dec. 26. 1885. Mr. Jack, a retired machinist, and boat builder, lived in Lakeland, Michigan, prior to coming to the Coast. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. R. G. Jack, Gulfport; and three daughters, Mrs. Madge Rowe, Detroit; Mrs. Mildred Ackley, Pinckney, Michigan, and Mrs. Roberta Hoskin, Ferdale, Michigan. A prayer service was held Wednesday night at Riemann's Chapel. The body was sent to Pinckney, Michigan, where funeral services and interment will be held.
