KAYSVILLE - Doris Brian Taggart passed away 24 March 1997 at the Davis Medical Center in Layton, Utah.

Doris was born the 17th of September 1920 in Farr West, Utah to Douglas G. Brian and Annie Williamsen.

Doris had retired as vice president at Zions Bank. She was motivational speaker and had received several honors and awards, including Woman of the Year, Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and Honorary Colonel of the Salt Lake Police Department. She had held executive positions in several local and national organizations. Doris had lived in Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Kaysville. She was active in the LDS Church and had served a mission, worked in the temple, and had been a Sunday School teacher for 40 years.

Doris is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sharon Taggart; three grandchildren, Jennie, Ali, and Brad; sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Seliger, Mtn. Green and Sheila (Gary) Garlick, Kaysville, two sisters-in-law, Raelene Brian Crichlow and Juanita Brian and two brothers-in-law, Keith Wagsgard and Elwin Dransfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen Taggart; brothers, Douglas Brian and Duane Brian and sisters Gean Wagsgard and Myrene Dransfield.

Funeral services will be held at Kaysville East Stake Center, 201 So. 6th East, Kaysville, Utah on Friday, 28 March at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the viewing to be held at Myers Mortuary in Layton, 250 North Fairfield Rd., Thursday, 27 March at 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services, 11:30-12:30 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will be at the Kaysville Cemetery.
