Maurine Sullivan Morley, of Orem, Utah, returned to the arms of her sweetheart and to her Heavenly Father Sept. 12, 2014. She was born July 22, 1927, in Layton, Utah, to Daniel Arthur Sullivan and Ida Alder Robins.

She married Leonard Perry Morley March 22, 1946 in Layton, and they were later sealed in the LDS Salt Lake Temple Sept. 3, 1947. She showed exemplary service in the community as well as her church. She was dedicated to her church and served in many capacities including the Primary organization, Relief Society and was a temple worker for many years at the LDS Las Vegas Temple.

She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to visit with family, friends and those she met with no one ever being a stranger. She loved to sew and work in her yard, but what she loved the most was attending events of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in. her favorite past time was watching sports, especially baseball. When you visit her home, she would always offer to feed you.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, of 57 years; brother, Eugene Sullivan; and sister, Bernice Earl.

Maurine is survived by her three children, Paul (Ginny) Morley, Kevin (Laurel) Morley and Suzette (Lynn) Robins; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Mann; many nieces and nephews who loved her as their own mother; and all who adopted her as their surrogate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A special thank you to all at A+ Home Health and Hospice for the loving care you gave to mom and her family in her final days.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 19, with a hour visitation prior to the service, both at the LDS Chapel, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations to Clear Horizon Academy for children with autism would be appreciated in support of her great-grandson, Collin Ryan Sullivan, and Clear Horizon Academy, 1875 S Geneva Road, Orem, UT 84058.
