LADY LAKE – Joanne Marie Olson, 83, passed from this life Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Born in Evansville, WI she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Elsie (Huseth) Murphy. Joanne was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was most proud of her marriage of 64 years to her husband Eugene and her family. She came to Lady Lake from Milwaukee, WI in 1991. An Episcopalian, she worshiped at St. George Episcopal Church, The Villages and was a dedicated member of St. George Church Daughter of the Kings. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son, Paul Christopher Olson in 1999. She leaves her husband, Eugene J. Olson, son, Denis Olson (Jane) of Cranberry Township, PA; daughter, Lauren Werch (Chudley) of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Donald Murphy (Irma) of Beloit, WI; five grandchildren, Brittany, Jason, Daniel, Kristin Prycl (Norman), Amanda and two great grandchildren, Makayla and Mackenzie. Funeral Services will be held in St. George Episcopal Church, The Villages on Friday, September 26, 2015 at 10 AM.
