Deborah Ann (Mickelson) Newton, 52, went to be home with Christ when she passed suddenly at her home in Indianapolis on September 17th, 2014. She was born to the late William Mickelson and Rita (Bogan) Mickelson on March 27, 1962. She is survived by six siblings; beloved spouse, Jason Newton of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Amanda Folz and son-in-law, Rev. Anton Folz and grandchildren, Jordan and Wesley Folz, of Marion, IN; son, Adam Newton and daughter-in-law, Katie Newton of Olyimpa, WA.; son, Aaron Newton and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Newton of Macon, GA, and daughter, Anna Newton of Athens, GA. She was a passionate Christian woman, devoted to God and her family. Debbie enjoyed expressing herself through music, arts, and craft making. She thrived when she was serving others and will always be remembered for her compassion and tender smile. Her energy and spontaneity brought laughter and joy to her family, and her earthly presence will be sorely missed. Services for Deborah will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Lakeview Wesleyan Church, 5316 S. Western Ave, Marion, IN, with Rev. Anton Folz and Pastor Adam Newton officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., on Saturday, prior to the service, at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
