Kimberly Ann Bachelder Teague

WARRENTON — Kimberly Ann Bachelder Teague, 47, died, Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at her home on Highway 58 in Warrenton.
Kimberly was born June 10, 1967, in Halifax County to the late Dennis Wade Newton and Connie Dickens Smith. She was a very unique person, “What you see, is what you get,” who loved and believed in her family which is evident by the way she kept her home and raised her children. Kimberly loved her Momma more than life itself and loved her “Pop,” O.G. Smith. She was an extreme animal lover and had a unique relationship with her Lord and Savior. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Timmy Wayne Newton.

Surviving are her husband, George Whalen Teague Sr.; mother, Connie Smith and husband, O.G.; sons, Nathan and Danny O’Neil; stepson, George Whalen Teague Jr.; daughter, Lisa Wade Hood; stepdaughters, Kristy Marie Ledford and Casey Lynn Teague; and sisters, Margaret Guerra and Jackie Liles. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., today, Thursday, Sept. 18 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids, which is handling the arrangements. Pastor Jeff Sagala will conduct funeral services in the chapel at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 19. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
