He was born on January 19, 1937, in Hickory, Arkansas, to the late Herbert William and Versie “Raney” Hale.
Herbert was a retired Mechanic and loved to spend time fishing and loved his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister: Betty Ramsey.
He is survived by his loving wife: Wanda “Walls” Hale of Rector; two sons: Wayne (Jackie) Hale of Bono, Arkansas, David (Carol) Hale of Rector; one daughter: Kimberly (Dennis) Williams of Rector; one brother: Marion Hale of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sisters: Peggy Ostman of Omaha, Nebraska, Bonnie Williamson of Cherokee, North Carolina; grandchildren: Steven (Amy) Williams, Casie (Jason) Vaughn, Matt Hale, Kristen Hale, Jerry Hale, Kaley Hale.
Services were by: Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Interment was at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
